Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and 121212 Lovers…Wow, what a day. It was sunny and the Mayor woke up all bright eyed and bushy tailed. Guess what he did? After breakfast he went out back and actually went down 12 steps, just like a young pup!
See him up on the hill? What a sight to see. I was almost afraid to run get my camera.
He has not been up on the hill for quite awhile. What a holiday gift for his Mom and Grandma and I suspect all of the residents of bassethoundtown.
Who says you can’t go home?

It is wonderful to see Chaps doing so well now. Our seniors are the best. Today was day 1 of Bumpers green bean diet. He loved the French cut style and Abby wanted them too! We will do anything to keep these big guys moving!! They are looking forward to Aunt Cats visit on Monday – and I can’t wait for our burger!
If Chaps went down 12 steps I assume he came back up without any trouble? I’m glad you had such a nice day and the Mayor could enjoy it … sounds like his treatments are helping him a lot. Big slurp from us. 🙂
All of a sudden I get a flash of the Mayor running down the street and you chasing after him.
I think Chaps is spry and is definitely the type to live every day to the fullest.
OM – that is so funny! He has never had trouble coming up stairs only going down. I forgot to mention that. hehehe
Hip, hip, hoorah! Our Mayor is one big tough guy. He knows he has responsibilities here in basset hound town and has to stay active and healthy.
