Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and New Year Lovers…

I made this little video off of  Photo Booth on my lap top.  I hope you can see it.  I think you need quicktime.

Movie on 2013-01-01 at 11.50

Stuff like this is just mainly for the residents and I did not want to put it on Youtube so, I tried this method.

So…..anyway…..

More vlogging later (hopefully if it works)…Love, Cat (Chaps and Emma ATB) howling in the New Year.

Hi Cat – so good to see and hear you. I know you are so sad … I am glad you and your mom have each other. Was wondering if it was about time for a Romeo and Enzo visit.

What was your lucky german meal? We had egg salad and watched football.

    Love you! 🙂

Howllo Fellow Town Hounds – well, I did not open the cards yet, I am sure much to Marilyn’s chagrin. I really need to do that. I will have Romeo and Enzo help me. I just cannot get used to a dog that is the size of a horse and when you look around his face is right in my face. It’s like…”Hi, do I know you?” Romeo does not know the meaning of personal space. Big Baby.

Wanna hear something totally cliche? I bought a treadmill yesterday. Yes, residents, we are sick and tired of our own excuses of not exercising.

First off, we did not eat German. We are staring a new tradition. Eating where ever. Might be German might not. We went to Brios. Anyone have one of those that they go to? Pretty good food, a bit on expensive side (50 dollars) for lunch but that included 2 glasses of house chardonnay.

Then off to Sears to buy the Prowalk, I think it is called that. It will be delivered on Monday for a set up fee of 125 dollars. Can you believe that? Wow, I had no idea that treadmills were so expensive and we bought one that was considered quality at the bottom of the line it was about 400 clams. WOW! The one next to it was over a grand. Anyway, I had saved up for it and now I don’t have to bore myself with my own excuses.

Well, I better go for now. Ro Ro and Ennie are waiting….with their bad baited breath.

    More later….Love Cat

I finally found a PC to watch the video. Yeah, I say open those cards! Do you need a drum roll?!

My BFF bought a treadmill about a year ago. Cost here more than $700. Those things are not cheap. And I don’t understand it. She too had someone come and set it up. That cost her $50. But, I think it’s a good idea to have someone do that if you don’t have a handy man around the house. And they can make sure it works properly too.

I hope your having fun with the nephew dogs. I bet it’s different keeping them now.

Take care and good luck with the treadmill! Be sure and do a blog about it so we can see what you got.

girl you could do the weather on tv! “now over here there be a monster blizzard. here there is a apocalypse! in ohio..it’s sunny & 78 degrees” all that without turning your head. very impressive.

glad things are inching ahead. traditions are what they are. me i head pie (chocolate cream please) before turkey on thanksgiving because everyone knows the pilgrims fled england due to restrictions about pie. you make your own traditions..& they can certainly change.

having cared for a 140 lb rottie i get that “oh hi..i am in your face” thing.

I finally got to see the movie, it took awhile to download. Your jade jewelry is beautiful and it goes so well with your coloring.

Just remember to take things slow, and let any resident of Basset Hound Town know if they can help in any way (especially me).
