Sitting up by the Lily Books;)
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Sitter Upper Lovers…Well, I think it is cute but not very safe for our long backed hounds. OMDog! Daisy Lynn is especially long. I have to get her measurements before the weekend is over.
Anyway, she loves to sit up like this.
It is just the cutest thing. I know she does it to get my attention because I go crazy for her when she looks at me like that. Just darling….
Do any of you remember there used to be (I think it is still out there somewhere) a sitter uppers club. I might even have it on my blog roll. I need to go look for that.
I am not going to let Daisy Lynn do this on her own but from time to time I will help her. I used to do it with Chaps all the time. Now that was a sight to behold and is burned in my brain.
More loving those darling little looks later…Cat, Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB) sitting up for Grandpa
I remember reading about the sitter uppers club here in Basset Hound Town. I think you had a friend that Chaps would sit up for when she would come by.
Slinky has never done this, I don’t think that every Basset can do this, but it is adorable.
I also think Mayor Daisy is becoming quite a manipulator.
She looks very comfortable sitting up. None of my hounds ever sat up. But I have one that sleeps flat on his back with his feet in the air. ALL the time. It’s so funny.
Which hound sleeps on its back? I have a bet with myself on who it is.
Slinky sleeps curled up in the fetal position right in the center of the bed. If I move her, she repositions herself, and I wind up sleeping on an awkward angel.
Jethro sleeps on his back. I’m sure it’s who you thouught. Harriet curls up in a ball. Ozzie just stretches out on his side but likes to use a pillow under his head.
I knew it would be Jethro. It’s one of his many mays of beating a different drum.
He’s such a “BAD ASS”
