Good Morning bassethoundtown residents! Wanna Play?
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Wanna Play lovers….This morning Romeo woke up really early and was very restless. I think he wanted to play with our very own Daisy Lynn!!!
Oh, Daisy Lynn….where are you?
Of course Miss Daisy Lynn wanted to play but first a big basset hound kiss!
“Your name is Romeo right? So, show me some RoRo-mance”!
OK, let’s go play big boy!
Romeo can come in the dog door but he won’t go out the dog door. Wonder why? I keep trying to teach him but he gets really scared.
More loving play hounds later….Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB glad that Daisy Lynn likes her cousins)
PS – Enzo slept in – Lucky dog….
Mayor Daisy is a master at public relations.
Cat, your yard is so lovely!
Thank you so much Hilary! Grandma and I work very hard on it. 😉
Have you tried going outside and coaxing him out? It may be that because your inside he comes in. I’ve trained more than 10 dogs to use the doggie door and the hardest was Rugs. He was scared of everything and the flaps slapping together behind him and the noise it made just startled the poor guy. Eventually he learned that if he went in and out of the door real slow that didn’t happen. He was so cute creeping through the door and letting it quietly close. I never knew when Rugs went in and out of the doggie door.
Cindy I will try that. Romeo is a big baby as well. I will report back with my anticipated progress….
Cindy – what a sweet Rugs story. 🙂
Cat – I am so glad that Daisy Lynn is enjoying her cousins so much.
They look like Romeo and Juliet smooching on the balcony, too cute!
Dear Cat, Grandma and baby Mayor Daisy Lynn,
Remembering sweet Emma on her final journey; never forgotten.
