Mama please turn up the heat!
November 9th, 2013 - 8:08 pm KY Time
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and hounds needing heat lovers…This morning when we got up it was darn cold! Daisy Lynn was in and out very quickly.
While I was making her breakfast she was laying by the heating vent.
Too cold to eat???
Oh boy…we have Dec, Jan, Feb, and most of March still to come!
I see an increase in my heating bills!
More looking into indoor sweaters later…Cat, chilly Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB under rainbow gullies)
Cute! Maybe some long johns or sweats would help too. Ollie doesn’t like the cold either but refuses to wear sweaters or coats. I have plenty with hoods & without & he just won’t wear them He won’t budge let alone walk if I put one on him so I don’t bother. Maybe when he is older. My other dog loved them & even had a sweatshirt for cold winter nights even though she slept with us. Ollie doesn’t. He has his own bed but usually is sleeping on the carpet Maybe he is hot blooded. lol!!
LOOOOOVE this picture of Miss Daisy, Cat!!! She sure looks pathetic! Please turn the heat up a notch or two for her, or better yet, snuggle up under a blanket or two, grab a glass of wine(or two), and watch a good movie!!
I meant for BOTH Miss Daisy and you to snuggle up of course!! HA, ha, ha!!!
Ohhhhhhhhhhh that sound divine Karen!
Poor, poor, pitiful Daisy Lynn…what does a hound have to do to get some heat around here!
I got Sophie her very own furnace – her name is Mabel. I find Sophie snuggled up to her Great Pyrenees quite often now that there is snow on the ground and very cold wind chills. 😉
OM – I bet that Mabel is really warm and soft. That Sophie is really, really going to benefit. Do GP have a sleep stink like bassets?
Nope – Mabel has no smell to her. It’s Sophie that does the stinking. 🙂 And yes, Mabel is incredibly soft and warm. Sophie hit the snuggling jackpot.
