I have decided to make some life changes…

April 1st, 2014 - 5:05 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and life changing lovers…Starting now, the new name of our town is FAIRY LACE PLACE.

I have decided to comb the globe for lace eared basset hounds.  I have also decided to sell my home and move to farm deep in Kentucky where I can let the lace ears roam the many acres (all fenced in of course) of magical blue grass. I found a farm that I will call Fairy Lace Place!

Here it is – TaDa!

I will start a new blog documenting my exciting journey.

The lace eared hound is fairly rare and these are a few subjects that I have let get away…

Word has it that fairies and sprites are attracted to them.

I might be able to catch some mystical images on my IPhone! I will also get night vision goggles…

I think I will start my next book!

I am sure the farm life is for me.  Wonder if Grandma will like it?

APRIL FOOLS FELLOW RESIDENTS,
APRIL FOOLS!

Dog knows that Grandma and I can hardly keep up with one young hound!  Daisy Lynn still reigns supreme and the only hound in our personal town (lace ear or not!)

More loving fairies and sprites later…Cat, the one and only Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB not fooled for one second!)

PS – We cannot forget Oz Doyle the lace ear wonder hound dreaming of neverland!

Ha! You can’t fool me anymore on April 1st. The first year or two that I was in BHT you fooled me, but no more.

Regarding that farm, I don’t think I’d want to live below a waterfall like that. The lace hounds would make a wonderful flock though. 🙂

LOL OM – It was pretty far fetched and I love thinking about a flock of lace ears! Maybe I could use that waterfall as a shower! hehehe

Actually, April the first is very important to me. It was the day I bought bassethoundtown (the home) 17 years ago. It is also my Grandma, on my Dad’s side birthday! Love this day!

My Ozzie has a lace ear. Where’s his picture? Just joking! His isn’t very pretty. We don’t care what you call the town. We’ll always be around!

Oh Cindy – I cannot believe I left out Ozzie! He is as pretty a hound that I have ever seen!
