Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Shadow Box Lovers…Some of you may recall that I won a much coveted item during a basset rescue auction!

In that blog post I linked to above, I told the residents about my dream to find a shadow box to put my delicious sweater in!!!

This is just a shot to show where I hung it in the dining room…

Here is a closer look…

I just love it!  I was hoping that the sun would hit it in the morning and it does!

I am ready for my disco breakfast for surez…

One more and I will stop bragging…

All I have to do is take it off the wall, open up the back and put it on!  Loverly!

More loving functional art later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB disco dancin’)

It looks lovely, but I think you should wear it for special events.

I really like your shadow box idea for your sweater. Looks really pretty. I would be careful of the sun fading it though especially through the glass.

Sandy and Ollie – it only has about 5 minutes of sun that hits a portion of it in the morning but that is a very, very good point. I am going to make sure that does not change with summer coming on!

Cat- I have same issue with a wall of photo’s & a painting that we put on the wall one winter not realizing the sun would shine in the evening on them. I really try to make sure I angle my blinds for a short time.

Thank you Sandy. I certainly don’t want my wearable artwork to fade! I really did not think that through! Thank you again…
