Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Share Time Lovers…Remember, I told the residents that my basset hound collection of cherished items was beyond burgeoning???  Well, I thought I will share another item.  Actually 2!

We all know howl much our beloved hounds love to chase bunny rabbits…

This one is getting away in its very own lifeboat while my personal monopoly piece watches on!

BC1

Yes, I have my very own personal monopoly piece!

BC2

The little bunny in the lifeboat is actually carved out of a nut.  She was purchased by my Dad on a trip we took to China.  You can imagine howl cherished she is…

BC3

One paddle ahead of her challenger…

BC4

“Is that a bunny I smell?”

BC5

More resting assured that most of the bunnies get away in a life boat of speed later…Love, Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB in a rainbow canoe with Grandpa…)

Very sweet – especially because of the connection to your dad.

So, how did you get your own special Monopoly piece?

OM – I found the tiny brass basset hound on ebay about 15 years ago and crowned it as my monopoly/dogoploy piece. I wowed my nephews when I whipped it out and tried to beat them. At times we had the board set up for days on end! I always paid triple to buy the basset hound card in dogopoly. Such great memories.

How nice!! I recently put the monopoly dog in an old game I have in my shadow box because my daughter informed me they don’t make them like that. I love to play Monopoly! My husband & I will pick a snowstorm day & get the game out right after breakfast & sometimes it goes on all day!! I recently played the game with my 5 yr old grandson for the 1st time & he won! Game was over quickly because he bought up properties & my daughter & I lost our money to him. LOL!! Fun afternoon.
