Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and fun day lovers…Today Grandma, Daisy Lynn and I went to Pyramid Hill, a sculpture park.  Very mod for sure.  Today they had Dog Dayz.  A fun event just for dogs.  We set up our vendor table!  Look howl cute!

Then look who came to our table!

PH1

This is Sophie!  She was rescued from an all breed rescue in our area called Louie’s Legacy!  They have a particular love of bassets!  It was so funny.  Daisy Lynn was scaring her with all of her barking but when Daisy Lynn stopped Sophie kept inching closer and closer!  Just darling…

PH2

“You smell so good!”

Just 2 girls enjoying Dog Dayz!

And then a labradoodle walked by looking like a lion!

More loving Dogs Dayz later…Cat, Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB proud of Mommy selling the Lily book!)

It is so good to see that you had books there to sell. I’m afraid with today’s technology we’re getting away from anything that you can physically touch. I just think it’s good for kids to still be able to sit down and open a book and read from paper. Call me old fashioned.

Daisy Lynn and Sophie look so cute! Sophie is a beautiful girl too.

Yes Cindy – I was very surprised that my table really drew the kids in. I had all kind of books to sell and most of the kids went for the Little Golden Books from the 1950s. Sophie was so cute.

JBA – I think this link will take you to our more detailed link on Pyramid Hill. It is so much fun. You can rent “art carts” which are painted golf carts and go around to all of the sculptures. You can even take your dog in the cart. Very dog friendly park. Lots of picnic tables and walking paths. Very serine being around all the outdoor art.

What a nice park! I too noticed all the books on your table. I really believe kids need to hold a book in their hands(not on a computer) & read & look at the pictures. It is so important. Looks like Daisy Lynn was having fun meeting Sophie. They are both so cute!

Sandy OM – The kids were really drawn to the books. Also the people in my age group and older really appreciated the Little Golden books. It was a lot of fun and a lot of smile. Nothing better than that!
