Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Summer Sunday Lovers…Wow, yesterday we were picnicing and watching the boys of summer wind up the season.  Nothing like a local ball game…

Daisy Lynn could not figure out why all those boys were throwing balls around and no dogs were allowed to chase them?

So now it’s Monday and back to work not to mention Grandma and I are getting our flu shot today!

What a difference a day makes…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Colby Chaps being 12 years old lovers…There is nothing in this big crazy world like an old hound.  I adore the elders and their soulful wisdom!

So proud and so kind.

Did I say kind?  Well, Colby Chaps wanted to party with his friends and had his Mommy make the party favors!

He thought he had better taste one before heading out to the park to meet his new BFF, Lily!

“OK, Mommy they are great as per usual.  I can’t wait to give some to my friends!”

“Here I am, the life of the party!”

“Gather round all yee hounds (and wanna bes;)”

“This is my new friend Lily!  Can you believe it?  I have a Lily just like Grandma Cat did!”

“She is a lot of fun and we meet at the park for walks and sniffing…”

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Great Pyreneeses lovers…One Mom we know you are one of both!  So, if you see 2 Great Pyrenees are they Great Pyreneeses?  Whatever…we did and they were majestic!

Of course this picture does not do them justice.  Things moved too quickly for me to get a better shot as I was struggling to get myself off the ground the woman warned us that her male was not friendly.  So, we moved off to the left where Daisy Lynn quickly began to roll in deer poop!  GREAT!

Someone was in store for a bath when we got home!

Of course I did not get a picture.  I feared for my IPhones life!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Friday Facebook Find Lovers…I have been sniffing around facebook and saving a few things for the residents to view.  So cute!

First off we have this Friday Face…Can you believe howl cute this older gentlehound is? I could not understand the language so I have no idea of his name but I think he was from Russia.

Then, I stumbled upon this from Scotland!  The caption said,

“If bassets can wear cute coats so can ponies!”

Is it cold in Scotland now?  hehehe

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and strange hound behavior lovers…I found this little video about Rosie on Youtube.  It brought back memories of howl my Chloe would do this same thing everyday.  She would go up on the hill and rub her head and back under the little red Japanese maple tree.

My Lily used to go into my closet that was long and narrow and walk really, really slow under all of the clothes.  It was so cute!  Wish I had a video of both of them now.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Restaurant Review Lovers…Grandma and I made the decision to Incline!  It’s a little place that sits atop one of the many hills of Cincinnati.  Upper Price Hill to be exact.

The Incline Public House in one fashion or another has been around since 1874. Grandma remembers riding the crazy incline contraption as a kid.

Can you imagine?

The food was good but too expensive.  We are thrilled to eat here but 70 dollars for lunch is way too much.  We had an appetizer, 2 sandwiches, a mac and cheese to share and 2 glasses of wine.

Daisy Lynn had it right.  She decided to recline instead of incline!

I was getting ready to put the cover of her office bed back on after washing it. I put it up on the ottoman to reach it better.  I walked out to answer my phone and she ran by me with her favorite snake toy.

“Reclining is free Mommy and you get me!”

More reclining instead of inclining later…Cat, Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB eating free sandwiches….)

P.S. – This place does not seem appropriate for dogs even though they have a huge outside patio.  They might allow them but I would call first.  I know I would not take Daisy Lynn even if they did allow dogs.  Too many railings and too many people.
