Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Homemade Frosty Paws Lovers…Today Judy (of Bumper and Abby) and I went out to lunch.  We had a great outing and the highlight was ending up on the floor with Bumper and Abby.  I was too busy rubbing necks and bellies that I forget to get a picture which is totally upsetting me right about now!

Judy sent me home with 3 of her homemade frosty paws!

Daisy Lynn attacked me when I walked through the door.

Grandma could not get it to her fast enough!

The heat index was 100 degrees today!  The yum index was 100%!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and TV dinner lovers…Well those things are a thing of the past but not the idea!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Morning Dew Sweepers Lovers…This is a kennel in Spain.  Someone at this kennel who is a bassetabulous artist also does illustrated standards of the basset hound.  This is just one of the many illustrations that I love…

Howllo Fellow Basset and walking with Hound Lovers…Most of us are stuck at work and can walk our hounds right now but you can enjoy these 18 as they roam Belwade Farm in Scotland.

Let me just say this is pure 9 minutes of joy.

Howllo Fellow Basset and smart hound lovers…We all know that the basset is the smartest hound around, especially in this town!

I came into the living room to check on Daisy Lynn and found her in the chair that I am trying to keep hound hair and stink free.

Instead of getting down she said, “you are not the boss of me!”

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Sunny Day Lovers…Since the weather has been so nice I put up Daisy Lynn’s screen in the sun room.  Here she is laying next to her purple octopus that Cindy, Jethro, Rugs, Harriet and Oz bought her as a welcome to bassethoundtown toy.  Also, you can see her bell on the door.  When I close the sliding glass door she rings that thing like crazy.  I guess she likes her screen!

This is what she did all day.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Dog and Butterfly Lovers…Who remembers that song?  It was written and sung by HEART.  It is also the name of this picture!  LOL!!!

It’s Daisy Lynn as a caterpillar and yours truly as the butterfly!  This was a fun picture board we tried out at Woodland Mound Park today!  We found out that the wild flowers that draw in the butterflies were in full bloom!

Here we are looking for some of the butterflies…

They had warning signs to make sure to look for butterflies sunning their wings on the walking paths and don’t step on them!  hehehe – Daisy Lynn was chasing them!

We met a friend named Bonnie!  (Bonnie Lass)

Daisy Lynn wants to know if Timmy really was in the well???

It really is so much fun to go to the same parks over and over again because there is so many different things to see throughout the seasons.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Cool August Lovers…It has been so strange in bassethoundtown.  For the past few nights it has been in the mid 50s and the days top out in the mid 70s.  Very strange for August but we are not moaning about it at all!  We are hitting the bridge, the purple people bridge!

I have blogged about this wonderful place for years.  What a wonderful way to spend a cool August day.

Here we are getting ready to cross over into OH.  There is a huge park at the foot of the bridge and they were setting up for Party in the Park.  It happens every Wednesday night during the summer.

Off to the other side is another huge area that has music festivals and a walking loop that follows the river.  This is the entrance area.

Here we are in awe of this old roman dude named Cincinnatus, the name sake of Cincinnati.
