January 18th, 2015 - 8:08 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and our favorite part of Downton Abbey Lovers…

Isis – the yellow lab…

DAIsis

Daisy Lynn and I were looking forward to tonight’s episode so we decided to have a spot of tea in Isis’ honor!

DLDA1

As you can see we both have on our finery…

DLDA2

Daisy Lynn is wearing a heavily encrusted gown hand sewn with iridescent sequins and pearl like embellishments.  The draping accents her beautiful frame.

DLDA3

“Mama, what time does Dogton Abbey come on?”

DLDA4

“I heard that ladies have their paw kissed by handsome boy hounds!”

DLDA5

Gotta love high tea with a high hound!

Cat, did you make that gown Miss daisy is wearing? It really looks nice on her! She also looks like she enjoys playing “dress up”!

Karen – That was the top to an old bridesmaid dress that I cut the bottom off of.

Miss Daisy is enjoying being so dressed up! That is really neat how you used the top of your bridesmaid dress for it. Beautiful photo of you in the dress. I have recently found a use for old sweatshirts or 2nd hand that I thought was an awesome idea.

What a great way to recycle! 🙂 I’m really into that with fabric. I buy old woolen sweaters, jackets, etc. Then I wash in HOT water and dry on a HOT cycle and cut them up and make wall hangings an table mats out of them!

I think the Dowager Duchess will be quite jealous and envious.
