Major snow day in bassethoundtown…

February 21st, 2015 - 8:08 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Snow Day Lovers…Today we were snowed in with about 10” over the past 2 days mixed with a little ice to make it extra interesting;)

SI1

We hunkered down and you do what you must…

Do a test run of marinating bing cherries in Grey Goose Vodka.

SI2

That is the recipe.  Buy a bag of frozen bing cherries with nothing but cherries, no sugar, no syrups.  This is a tiny little glass smaller than a shot glass.  I am doing a test run;) for a small luncheon I am having next week.

Then we do as you do…take a nap!

SI3

Life is a bowl of vodka cherries…

More loving snow days later…Cat, Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB having cherry cobbler…)

Your photo with the snow is so pretty! Your drink sounds delish. I would be taking a nap too. What else can you do when it snows? lol!! The other day I was making bread because it was so cold outside. Today in the 20’s so we grilled dinner outside & the bitter cold is coming back tonight. This coming week the temps will be below zero at times & very cold with winds & more snow. THINK SPRING!

    Sounds delightful.

I think all the residents should take you, your mother and the Mayor out to lunch.
