This lost K9 officer was found – Karson!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and finding a lost loved one lovers…Karson is a Wilmington Ohio K9 officer that got out of his boarding facility over the Christmas holidays. Not sure howl he got out but it is what it is. Our entire area was on the outlook for the officer for over 60 days.
Massive search parties were in process for the entire time. We never gave up.
It was just so touching to see him reunited with his partner.
I thought the residents would enjoy this video of his welcome home party. Wilmington is in OH about an hour and half from here.
Karson the Wilmington K9 officer gets hero’s homecoming
Karson has about 30K followers on facebook mostly because we were tracking his every move. There were numerous sightings over the 60 day period. Several days the temps dipped to -15. That officer must be some hearty stock.
I sure hope they keep up with his career with many more facebook updates.

I would suggest not using that boarding facility in the future. I can watch him if they want! I would not let him out of my sight!!!
