Had to share a nighty nite pic!

Howllow Fellow Basset Hound and nighty nite pics!  I had to share…

I am watching TV – specifically a series called Grantchester on Masterpiece.  Really good!  Darling Daisy Lynn is next to me and she is so funny – she always gets her nose out in perfect position after I cover her up!

She loves her blankee AKA gullies!

More loving black noses later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB always and forever my Masterpieces…)

Full Snow Moon…

February 3rd, 2015 - 11:11 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Full Snow Moon Lovers…Did the residents have fun viewing what they are calling the “Snow Moon”?  It was so big and bright.  I am so glad we did not have clouds tonight.

Anyway…I tried to capture it.

This is a picture where I sat on the floor in my sun room and aimed the Iphone up.

I was hoping that Daisy Lynn would find this moment intriguing and I could get her in a shot.  She did not get off the couch but check it out…

She was on the couch in the other room and you can see a small glint of the snow moon in the parted curtains.  I had no idea I captured that until I looked at the picture.

Sooooo snoooooooow coooool…

More loving unpredictable moments and snow moons later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB basking in full snow moon glory…)

Ground Hound Day – what do you think?

February 2nd, 2015 - 3:03 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Ground Hound Day Lovers – This is kind of odd…As many of the residents know we here in bassethoundtown do not trust the predictions of a rather large rodent.  Who died and made him/her the all knowing weather predictor? Anyway…our late Mayor had been correct with his predictions for as long as I can remember.

The procedure is as follows – The current Mayor of bassethoundtown must leave the domicile on his/her’s own accord without the influence of normal routine ie….potty time in the morning.  That way the Mayor is not coxed out when the sun is shining or it happens to be cloudy.

Here we are waiting for the Mayor to pick her timing…

Today it was partly cloudy, 19 degrees with a -2 wind chill factor.  Winds were out of the upper northeast with a leeward clip coming from the Artic band to southern tip of the pole.  In other words, it was darn cold!

Daisy Lynn’s foray today is a bit of head scratcher…

There is clearly a shadow in this picture but she, in my professional opinion, did not see it.

Then we have this picture…again, a shadow is visible but the Mayor did not see it!

What do you guys think? I know what I think but I will post it in the comments later…

The Mayor high tailed it back inside posthaste, of her own accord…

More thinking later…Cat, Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB knowing the answer…)
