Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and trick dog lovers!!!  LOL – remember I was telling you about Daisy Lynn working towards her Novice Trick Dog title???  Well, bless her pea pickin’ heart she achieved her/our goal!

Doesn’t she look so proud?  Well, we are proud of her as well.  We are going to hang this right next to Chaps wall of ribbons.

So much fun and in Grandma’s famous words…“We are off to join the circus!”

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Share Time Lovers!!!  OK – Howl cute is this?  I made a snowman face out of cheese…hehehe

I had a small gathering for New Years Eve and decided to make snowmen my theme…So, I took a cake of Borsin soft cheese (as you can see) and hollowed out the eyes and filled them with black pepper.  I used the hollowed out section to add the white ball to the end of the red hot jelly hat!  The nose is a carrot (duhhhh…) and the mouth is also a carrot…

Annie and Judy Alessandro have be so sweet over the years to give me the majority of my snowman collection and I just love it!

Next we have a gift I received from my sister!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and New Year Lovers…Can you even believe it?  2017 here we come!!!  I woke up this morning and wanted a word to define this year.  A word that has a umph, a word that will guide…and that word is PROFOUND! 

Isn’t it a cool word?

Howllow Fellow Basset Hound and Howl low day card lovers…I really do love it and many of you will recognize the picture.  It was from our Christmas Eve card a few years ago.  I decided to make it the 2016 official card from bassethoundtown!

Really, I can’t imagine a card getting much cuter than this.  I had some great ideas for another card but the weather did not cooperate.  There is always next year…

Daisy Lynn is not a huge fan of wearing clothes or anything for that matter.  She even hates her own collar and leash.  Have you ever heard of such a thing?  Just so odd…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and missing the sun lovers…It is so strange.  I cannot remember a time when there was no sun for so long.  Today it is raining ice slush…blech…I also bought some really cool solar panel Howl low day lights and that is a bust.  No sun, no lights.  So…let’s brighten things up a bit.  Remember I told you that Daisy Lynn was doing a Novice Trick class on Facebook?  She is really doing great and is going to accomplish her title.  Here she is getting a point for jumping over a pole!

I have a very short clip of her actually doing it.  I am going to try and post it here…

After all of the training Daisy Lynn likes to hunker down in her down and take a nap!

We did have fun at the Dickens Brunch.  Unfortunately, they overbooked this year and that took some of the charm away.

But of course Grandma and I were still very charming…

And Daisy Lynn got her sausage link…hehehe

Howllow fellow Basset Hound and Sunday Lovers…Today is a fun day in basset hound town.  Grandma and I are going to our annual Dickens buffet at the Omni Netherland Plaza.  Wow – what a treat.  Old time carolers roam around while you stuff yourself silly!  LoL – I will sneak home a figgy puddin’ for our Mayor.  We also need to get crackin’ on our Howl low day card.  I have the idea in my mind so stay tuned for that one.  I will post some pics later today but in the mean time…
