I was wondering what all the residents are doing for Thanksgiving. Grandma and I are going to a really nice buffet at a place called The Phoenix. It is so old Cincinnati.
I am so excited to do Thanksgiving out. I don’t love being in the kitchen. I do hate doing dishes. So, this is a WIN, WIN! For me but not for the kids!
Did I mention, no left overs????
Poor kids. I wonder if McDonald’s is open tomorrow?

I just had to share. I bought this picture off of ebay back in 2006. I think it is a print from the 1960s done by artist George Buckett…
Click on the image and enjoy all of the detail. As I recall, I paid 10 dollars for this framed joy but the shipping from Australia was 20 dollars. I just had to have it!
It sits on a shelf in my office and I look at it about 100 times a day!

What do you think? I took this picture of our Shimlette drinking water today and it kind of made me wonder…
Is her neck abnormally long? Her body is very long as well.

It kind of reminds me of Emma as a young curious pup! I was always finding chewed up “stuff” in her bed. I still to this day carry both of these items in my purse…
I should get a new address book, but I like this one!
Every time I write a check I point out my puppy’s teeth marks. Oh shimlette….

Emma has an art about it.
First she moves cautiously towards the target, aka bed…
She knows that the Mayor is sleeping which means he is very grumpy. She moves ever so silently towards her goal….
Nice! The grump is still sound asleep! Emma continues her stealth moves!
OK, almost there. Deep breath…
Emma thinks, “Oh for the love of Dog, I think I have made it. He is still snoring….”
